For Glenn and Robyn's engagement session, we chose to head over the hill to Capitola. This seaside town was such a great place to shoot at - In the span of just a few blocks there were so many colors and settings to play with! And although it had rained the night before (I know, this post is a little late) it seemed like the sun had come out just for this couple :)
Quang and Jenny's wedding was all about toasts, cheering, laughing, and singing all day. Jenny was absolutely gorgeous in both her chinese and western bridal gowns and the entire bridal party kept their energy going the entire time. Although traditional in the "tea ceremony / chinese banquet" sense, this is not to say that there wasn't any excitement and celebration radiating from everyone in attendance. I cant even remember how many toasts in the end were done by the end of the evening - maybe 50? But who's counting, right?!
This was a beautiful wedding held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in San Francisco. Jay and Mel were a complete a joy to be around the entire day. I couldn't tell if either of them were nervous at any point but you could definitely feel the love and emotion during the ceremony. Since their reception was in the east bay, we also took a detour to take a few portraits on Treasure Island just as the sun was setting. Gotta love that warm natural light! Great couple, great day, and a fabulous wedding!
