PT and Phuong - Santa Clara, Cupertino, CA

So it's time to dust off this long overdue post of PT and Phuong's engagement session… and I'll give you three guesses on what their wedding colors were :)   I had such a great time photographing PT and Phuong.   I couldn't believe how much energy they had running around on quite the warm day.  They were real sports hiking up the hills when I asked them to and spending a good chunk of their day with me.  Thank you PT for not serving tennis balls full speed at me.  I think i only got hit once!  Stay tuned for their wedding post (another long overdue one!)

Tamiko and Jason - San Mateo, CA

Back to posting!  This was an engagement session I did awhile back for Tamiko and Jason in their hometown of San Mateo.  Don't you think it's awesome when your hear of stories of the two kids who grew up together, and then end up being made for each other?  It was so great getting to know these two and hearing about how it all came to be.  Loved it!  And loved this couple!

Jason and Trang - San Jose, Half Moon Bay, CA

I love it when couples choose to incorporate "the little things" that mean the most to them in their engagement session. In Jason and Trang's case, it was spending time in their local neighborhood park and then in following with their tradition, heading out to the pumpkin patches that were setup for Halloween. So that's exactly what we did for our photo session... breaking out the Jordan's, we started in the park and then just before sunset, we managed to make it out to Half Moon Bay in search of a quiet little space amongst all the families and their quests for the perfect pumpkin. As a bonus during our time together, all of the pumpkins helped shine warm light over the couple even though the field was covered in fog. Gotta love natural reflectors :)

Glenn and Robyn - Capitola, CA

For Glenn and Robyn's engagement session, we chose to head over the hill to Capitola. This seaside town was such a great place to shoot at - In the span of just a few blocks there were so many colors and settings to play with! And although it had rained the night before (I know, this post is a little late) it seemed like the sun had come out just for this couple :)
